Delmax UltimaPro UP1 Tyres

Made for everyday road use on compact cars, sedans and wagons, the Delmax UltimaPro UP1 offers straightforward touring performance for passenger cars. It suits drivers who want a no-fuss replacement that matches their tyre placard, rather than a high-performance or heavy-duty tyre. We currently offer the UltimaPro UP1 online in 195/65R15, with a 91 load index and V speed rating.

A passenger tyre for sealed roads

The UP1 is classified as a C1 tyre, the regulatory category for standard passenger cars rather than vans or light trucks. Its role is simple: dependable everyday grip and comfort on bitumen for commuting, school runs and weekend errands. Detailed technical information on its tread design is limited, so treat it as a general-purpose touring tyre rather than a specialist pattern.

What 195/65R15 91V means

The 195 is the tread width in millimetres, 65 is the sidewall height as a percentage of that width, and R15 means a radial tyre for a 15-inch rim. The 91 load index allows up to 615 kg per tyre, and the V speed rating covers up to 240 km/h, well above Australian speed limits. The relatively tall sidewall of a 65-profile tyre helps soak up bumps and potholes, which suits city and suburban driving on rougher urban roads.

Who the UltimaPro UP1 suits

Owners of small and mid-size cars running 15-inch wheels

Commuters who mainly drive around town and on sealed highways

Drivers after a value-focused everyday driving tyre

FAQs

Which cars suit the Delmax UltimaPro UP1?

The 195/65R15 is a factory size on earlier-generation Toyota Corolla sedans and hatches (195/65R15) and the first-generation Hyundai i30 (195/65R15), along with a range of other small and mid-size cars. As with any tyre, wet grip depends on keeping pressures at the placard figure and replacing the tyres before the tread gets too low. It is not designed for gravel tracks, off-road driving or heavy towing, so choose a tougher pattern if your car regularly does that kind of work.
