Bob Jane T-Marts will enter the 2026 Equity One Porsche Carrera Cup Australia with an unchanged, three car line-up.
Young guns Angelo Mouzouris and Marcos Flack return to the Pro class, while reigning Pro-Am class champion Rodney Jane will aim to defend his crown in the new-look T-Marts Porsches.
Both Mouzouris and Flack are graduates of Sonic’s renowned pathway system, with Mouzouris rising through Formula Ford to now start his fourth full season in Carrera Cup with the team.
Mouzouris ended the 2025 season with a flurry of speed and results, including a front-row qualifying effort on the Gold Coast and an outstanding overall podium in Adelaide.
His consistent year, coupled with his strong finish saw him claim fifth overall in last year’s standings.
Like Mouzouris, Flack also started his junior racing tenure at Sonic in 2023, competing in the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge.
This year will mark his third in the top Porsche class and if momentum plays its part, he will be a contender from the outset in 2026.
After scoring an early podium at the Grand Prix event, he completed the season at the same end of the field, taking pole and finishing second twice on the Gold Coast. Flack finished the season seventh overall.
Rounding out the three-entry attack will be Jane, who broke through to take his third Pro-Am title after a close fight throughout the season.
Jane won the 2006 and 2007 crowns, and after a decade hiatus from racing, his 2025 title puts him equal with Stephen Grove as the only three-time Pro-Am champions.
The Bob Jane T-Marts Porsche effort will continue to be run by Sonic Motor racing Services, a partnership that is now over 20 years strong.
The trio will compete in the seven round schedule, travelling to four states and some of the biggest events on the Australian motorsport calendar, including the Bathurst 1000.
The 2026 Equity One Porsche Carrera Cup Australia season begins on the streets of Albert Park as support to the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix on March 5-8.
QUOTES
Michael Ritter
Team owner, Sonic Motor Racing Services
“We are really pleased to have our three drivers back in our cars for the new season,” said Ritter.
“For Angelo and Marcos, their progression through the year was rewarded with some outstanding results in the last couple of rounds.
“They know the job at hand. They are both very experienced in these cars and against the calibre of drivers they are against.
“We are confident that they are ready to take that next step this year.
“Seeing Rodney take another Pro-Am title was very rewarding, both for the team and Rodney himself.
“He has completed more pre-season testing than ever in preparation for the year ahead and has made real gains. His motivation to win is the strongest I’ve seen from him.
“We’ll be pushing as hard as we can to keep that crown on our mantle.”
