Bob Jane T-Marts confirms driver line-up for 2025 Carrera Cup attack

Bob Jane T-Marts will return to the Paynter Dixon Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship with an unchanged driver line-up for the 2025 season.

Young guns Angelo Mouzouris and Marcos Flack will continue to spearhead the team’s Pro Class challenge, while Rodney Jane returns for another season in Pro-Am.

The confirmed Bob Jane T-Marts driver line, and its motorsport team partner Sonic Motor Racing, continues the ongoing support of young driver talent in Porsche Carrera Cup.

The Bob Jane T-Marts and Sonic combination has produced three Pro Class champions since the series started in Australian 2003.

Carrera Cup Australia will contest eight events across the 2025 season, kicking off at Sydney Motorsport Park this weekend.

Mouzouris, a rising star of the category, enjoyed a career-best season in 2024, claiming his first podium finish at Taupo and racked up 11 Top 10 finishes.

Flack begins his second season in Australia’s top-level Porsche series full of confidence which included a stunning race victory in the opening round at Albert Park last year.

For Rodney Jane, 2025 marks his third season back behind the wheel of his Porsche after a 10-year driving hiatus.

Jane has been a consistent leader in the Pro-Am class, highlighted by wins at the Australian Grand Prix and Bathurst.

The Paynter Dixon Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship will take in the biggest events on the Australian motor racing calendar, headlined by the traditional slot at the Australian Grand Prix and the Repco Bathurst 1000.

The season begins at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 21-23, before the AGP a month later, then Darwin on June 20-22. A return to Queensland Raceway follows on August 8-10 before the trip to South Australia’s Tailem Bend in September. October features Bathurst and the Gold Coast street race before the season finale at the Adelaide 500.

Bob Jane T-Marts has been a mainstay of Paynter Dixon Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship paddock since the category’s foundation, with David Reynolds, Nick Foster and Jordan Love all winning the title in the brand’s familiar colours

The opening round for the three Bob Jane T-Marts Porsches will be at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 21-23.

Angelo Mouzouris:

“There has been a lot of hard work going into our Carrera Cup program behind the scenes during the off-season,” said Mouzouris.

“We’ve had a couple of really good test days to find out what we are missing, and we are confident that we have made some progress.

“In the final two rounds at the Gold Coast and Adelaide, we unlocked some speed and they were strong rounds for us, so with the off-season work, I feel that we are in a good place to pick up where we left off.”

Marcos Flack:

“This season in Carrera Cup is a pretty big year for us,” said Flack.

“Being able to apply what I learnt in my first season, plus everything I've worked on during the off-season, is going to make the difference.

“This year is really about trying to work on consistency. There were a few times last year – the AGP and Gold Coast – where the speed was there. But over the course of the year, the consistency wasn’t. That is the focus for 2025.

“Being a part of the Bob Jane T-Marts team with Sonic is awesome. It’s a family.

“The support that Michael, Maria (Ritter) and the whole team give is everything you want in a race team. It's a great environment to be a part of.”

Rodney Jane:

"Racing has always been a passion deeply embedded in our family's history," said Rodney Jane.

"I'm eager to get back behind the wheel with the Sonic team and compete in another season. The challenge lies in maximizing your performance as a driver, while working with the team who analyses your feedback and the data to fine-tune the car setup. If you get this right, you’ll optimize the performance and durability of your tyres, which is crucial in the battles against your rivals.

"Bob Jane T-Marts recognises the significant value in aligning its brand with the high-performance and precision engineering synonymous with the Porsche Carrera Cup. This collaboration not only enhances brand visibility across the country but also reinforces the company's commitment to excellence and performance.

"The Porsche Carrera Cup cars have been a long standing category in Australia with a very competitive field. The Sonic team, Angelo, Marcos and I have put in a substantial effort during the off-season, and we are focused on finding significant improvement on the track this year. Our goal is to consistently deliver strong performances throughout the series."
