Bridgestone highlights wet grip as the T005A's headline strength. An asymmetric tread with a centre pattern shaped for water drainage helps clear the contact patch, while an enhanced carcass design supports handling and ride comfort. Lower rolling resistance

A newer compound mixing process improves how silica is spread through the rubber, which Bridgestone says lowers rolling resistance. Two sizes in the range, 215/55R18 and 235/55R19, are EV-marked versions intended for specific electric or electrified models.
