The Ventus S1 evo Z (K129) from Hankook is a high-end summer sport performance tyre developed using Hankook's racing tyre know-how. It is made for powerful sports cars, prestige sedans and performance SUVs whose owners value high-speed stability and precise response over soft, touring-style comfort. Grip that holds as temperatures rise

Hankook gives the evo Z a silica and resin compound based on its racing tyre development. It is designed to help the rubber cling to the road surface at high temperatures, improving handling and braking when the car is driven hard. An aramid hybrid cord in the construction limits growth in tyre diameter at speed and reduces tread distortion under heavy cornering loads, supporting stability and even wear.

A tread split for dry and wet

On the outside, a very wide shoulder block paired with slim straight grooves increases the rubber in contact with the road for dry grip. Hankook uses a different pitch count on the inner and outer halves of the tread: the outer side is tuned for steering grip in dry corners, while the inner side has more pitches to open up drainage gaps for wet braking. Broadened lateral grooves on the shoulder also help evacuate water and reduce noise. The pattern won a 2021 Red Dot Design Award.

Large-diameter sizes
