LDV T60 tyres are listed in six sizes across 17, 18, 19 and 20-inch rims. Three are factory sizes and three are optional, and all are wide, load-carrying sizes.
Tyre Sizes That Fit This Collection
Factory sizes begin with 255/55R19, 245/65R17 and 265/60R18, followed by three optional sizes.
- 255/55R19 tyres: factory fitment, 2021 onwards
- 245/65R17 tyres: factory fitment, 2021 onwards
- 265/60R18 tyres: factory fitment, 2025 onwards
- 255/50R20 tyres: also listed as a fit, 2021 onwards
- 255/60R18 tyres: also listed as a fit, 2021 onwards
- 255/65R17 tyres: also listed as a fit, 2021 onwards
On the LDV T60, start with the placard in the door jamb, then match it against the sidewall size, load index and speed rating. The 255/60R18 and 265/60R18 share a profile and rim but differ in width, so read the first number carefully. On the LDV T60, a Bob Jane T-Marts store near you can confirm it.
Work, weekends and sealed roads
The 245/65R17 and 255/65R17 have the tallest walls, which cushion rough roads and cost the least. The 255/50R20 is the lowest and suits sealed roads, though it needs more care around rocks and potholes.
For mixed work, compare all-terrain tyres for grip on gravel and bitumen. If most of your driving is on the freeway, highway tyres wear evenly and run quietly.
Load and pressure
Set pressures for the load you carry. For the LDV T60, a loaded tray or trailer needs the higher figure beside the placard, and checking cold is the simple habit that protects the tyres.
Rotate every 10,000km or so, and check the tread across the full width. For the LDV T60, replace in pairs or full sets with matching tread.
Look over the sidewalls for cuts after any rough trip, and check the spare alongside the others.
On a working vehicle, check the tread for stones lodged between the blocks after gravel runs, since trapped stones can drill into the carcass over time. A quick look each week costs nothing and can save a tyre.
Ask a fitter to compare the ply and load ratings of the options so the tyre suits the weight you actually carry.
Every model has its own tyre list. For another LDV, see the LDV G10 tyres page or the LDV Mifa tyres page, which each list their own sizes and fitted prices.
FAQs
What size tyres does an LDV T60 take?
Factory sizes listed are 255/55R19, 245/65R17 and 265/60R18, with 255/50R20, 255/60R18 and 255/65R17 as options. Check your placard.
How much do LDV T60 tyres cost?
LDV T60 tyres start at $195 and go up to $677 each. On the LDV T60, the ticket price covers fitting, balancing, tubeless valves, GST and old tyre disposal, with nothing added at the counter.
Do load tyres wear faster?
They wear faster if pressures are too low for the load. Using the loaded figure on the placard keeps the wear even.
