The Michelin Pilot Super Sport is a high-performance summer tyre with racing roots, made for powerful sports cars and tuned performance models that are driven hard on the road and, now and then, on a circuit. Racing heritage behind the design
Michelin developed the Pilot Super Sport using technology from a run of 20 straight Le Mans 24 Hours wins, and the Koenigsegg Agera R ran on it while setting six Guinness World Records. Michelin describes it as engineered with premium carmakers in mind, which is why so many sizes in the listing carry a carmaker marking.
Control under power and through corners
The focus is on control, both when accelerating in a straight line and when loading the tyre through a corner.
