According to RoadX, the H11 uses specially formulated compounds that are eco-friendly, fuel efficient and long lasting. For drivers who cover plenty of commuting and school-run kilometres in a small car, that combination of lower rolling resistance and durable tread is what the H11 is built around, which is why it sits comfortably among our eco-friendly tyres.

Steady contact in the dry and the wet

The H11 has closed shoulder blocks that strengthen the edges of the tread, helping the tyre respond consistently when you turn in. A pair of centre ribs works with those shoulders to keep stable contact with the road. For rain, RoadX uses three wide grooves and wave-shaped sipes to drain water away from the footprint and improve grip on wet roads.

The H11 suits light hatchbacks, city cars and small sedans on 13 or 14-inch wheels, including many older models that are still common on Australian roads. One example is the first-generation Honda Jazz (175/65R14), and plenty of earlier small Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, Suzuki and Mitsubishi models use sizes in this range. Check your tyre placard or ask a store to confirm the right size before you order.

Yes, that is the kind of driving it is made for. The fuel-efficient compound, stable centre ribs and water-clearing grooves suit stop-start city traffic, suburban roads and regular highway trips in a small car. The trade-off is that it is not a sports tyre, so it will not offer the sharp turn-in of a performance pattern, and it is not intended for unsealed tracks.
