Tracmax is a low-cost option for everyday cars, SUVs, utes and vans. We list more than 130 sizes from $85, mostly for 15 to 18-inch wheels.

Which Tracmax suits you

  • X-Privilo TX3 is the largest Tracmax line here, a road tyre for sedans and SUVs. See the X-Privilo TX3.
  • X-Privilo TX5 is a road option for cars and smaller SUVs. See the X-Privilo TX5.
  • X-Privilo H/T is a highway tyre for utes and SUVs that stay mostly on sealed roads. See the X-Privilo H/T.
  • X-Privilo AT08 is the all-terrain for utes that see gravel. See the X-Privilo AT08.
  • Transporter RF09 is a light commercial tyre for vans that carry heavier loads. See the Transporter RF09.

Before you buy

  • Work vehicles. About a fifth of the range is light truck sizes. Match or beat the load index on your current tyres.
  • Extra load. 54 sizes are XL. If your car came on XL, keep XL.
  • Highway kilometres. A budget tyre suits modest kilometres and city driving. If you do long highway trips, compare a mid-range brand in the same size.
  • Rotation. Rotate every service or so to even out wear between the front and rear.
  • Mud-terrain. The X-Privilo M/T is listed in a few sizes for off-road use. It is louder on bitumen than the H/T.

Sizes we list

Most Tracmax sizes fit 15 to 18-inch wheels, with 27 sizes for 16-inch rims. A few 13, 14, 19 and 20-inch options are listed too.

What the price includes

Prices include fitting, balancing, new tubeless valves, disposal of the old tyres and GST. Compare ute and light commercial tyres and everyday driving tyres, or drop into your nearest Bob Jane T-Marts.

Common questions

Is Tracmax a good choice for a work van?

It can be, if the Transporter RF09 is offered in your size with the right load rating. Check both load numbers on your current tyre, such as 112/110.

Which Tracmax suits a family SUV?

The X-Privilo TX3 or TX5 for sealed roads. The X-Privilo H/T if it is a larger SUV or ute.

How often should I check tyre pressures?

Monthly, and before long trips, with the tyres cold. Use the pressures on your placard, not the maximum on the sidewall.

Do you stock Tracmax all-terrains?
