Designed and tested by Bridgestone for Australia's harshest outback conditions, the Dueler A/T 697 is an all-terrain tyre for 4WDs. It is aimed at 4WD wagons and dual-cab utes that tour, work or travel long distances on unsealed roads where tyre damage is a real risk. Durability as the starting point

Most 697 sizes use light truck construction, which Bridgestone says improves puncture resistance. The tread uses larger, heavier blocks to resist cuts and chips from sharp gravel and rock, and a dual compound tread to improve heat durability on long, hot runs. Bridgestone also uses fewer shoulder sipes to reduce irregular wear, which helps the tread wear more evenly over time.

The aggressive all-terrain pattern is built for traction on gravel, dirt, sand and rocky tracks. Its chunky blocks give the tyre a purposeful look and bite when the surface gets loose, whether you are crossing a cattle station, heading up a fire trail or running corrugated roads to a remote campsite.
