Firestone offers a focused range of car, SUV, 4x4 and van tyres that is worth checking against Bridgestone in the same size. We list more than 100 sizes from $164, mostly for 16 to 20-inch wheels.

Which Firestone suits you

  • Roadhawk 2 is the most widely listed Firestone, for everyday sedans and hatches. See the Roadhawk 2.

Before you buy

  • Van loads. Commercial tyres such as the CV4000 show a C marking and two load numbers, like 112/110. Match or beat both.
  • Extra load. Nine Firestone sizes are XL. If your current tyre says XL, choose XL again.
  • Fuel use. If running costs matter, the F01 Fuel Fighter is the efficiency-focused option in the range.
  • Smaller range. With about 100 sizes, yours may not be listed. Search by rego, then compare Bridgestone or browse all tyre brands.

Sizes we list

Most Firestone sizes fit 17 and 18-inch wheels, followed by 16, 19 and 20-inch. Two 22.5-inch truck sizes are listed too.

What the price includes

Compare the same size from both. Decide on price, load rating and the kind of driving each pattern is made for.

Is the Destination M/T2 good for daily driving?

It works on the road, but expect more noise and faster wear than a highway or all-terrain tyre. Pick it only if you regularly drive mud or rock.

Which Firestone suits an SUV that stays in town?

The Destination LE-02. It is the highway pattern in the range, so it suits sealed roads.

Does Firestone make an all-terrain?

Yes. The Destination A/T is listed in one size, alongside the tougher Destination X/T.

Which Firestone suits a work ute?

The Destination X/T for gravel and site work. Check its load index against your placard if you tow or carry heavy loads.
