XD Series by KMC is built for trucks that want presence: all 285 wheels here are 4x4 fitments, and nearly half are 20-inch. Prices start from $202.

XD designs you will see

  • XD820 Grenade and XD849 Grenade 2: bold, heavy spokes, among the most widely stocked XD styles.
  • XD829 Hoss II: a classic truck look with a deep, open face.
  • XD775 Rockstar, XD811 Rockstar II and XD827 Rockstar III: a family of aggressive designs for lifted builds.
  • XD842 Snare, XD847 Outbreak and XD822 Monster II: more ways to get the XD look.

Bolt patterns and vehicles

Getting the tyre size right

Big wheels look best with a tyre that fills the guard. That usually means a larger overall diameter than factory. It can affect speedo accuracy, gearing and clearance, so have the tyre size checked first.

Before you buy

  • Confirm the centre bore, especially on a dual-drilled XD wheel.
  • Check the offset. Deep negative offsets push the wheel well past the guard.
  • Compare the load rating with your truck's axle loads if you tow heavy.
  • Plan for lift or trimming if you want a much taller tyre.

Which diameter suits your truck

  • 17 or 18 inches: more sidewall for towing, touring and airing down.
  • 20 inches: the most common XD size, balancing looks and tyre choice.
  • 22 inches: a street and show size with a low-profile tyre and a firmer ride.

Is XD Series the same as KMC?

It is part of the KMC family, but it is bigger and louder. The main KMC range focuses on 17-inch wheels.
