The Michelin Primacy SUV+ gives drivers a premium summer SUV tyre with dependable wet and dry braking that holds up over a long service life. It is a road-focused highway tyre for small, medium and large SUVs, as well as 4WD wagons that rarely leave the bitumen. EverGrip for wet and dry braking

The Primacy SUV+ uses Michelin's newest generation of EverGrip Technologies, including a new tread compound, U-shaped grooves and full-depth sipes that help break through the water film on the road, even when the tyre is worn. Michelin tested the tyre for braking both new and worn to 2 mm, reflecting its focus on keeping wet grip consistent through the life of the tread.

Made for the long haul

Michelin credits MaxTouch Construction with spreading forces evenly across the tread to help it wear evenly, though actual tread life depends on conditions and driving style. Sizes from 18 inches up also get Michelin's Premium Touch velvet finish on the sidewall, which gives the tyre a cleaner look on larger alloy wheels.

From compact SUVs to large 4WD wagons

15- and 16-inch sizes such as 205/70R15 and 265/70R16 for older SUVs and 4WD wagons
17- and 18-inch sizes, including 265/65R17 and 285/60R18, for popular large wagons
19- and 20-inch sizes up to 275/60R20 for late-model SUVs

The trade-off is passenger construction and a road tread, so it is not built for rocky tracks, sand or heavy remote touring. For that kind of use, an all-terrain or light truck tyre is more suitable.
