Built by RoadX as a dedicated mud-terrain tyre, the RXQuest M/T is made for 4WDs and utes that regularly tackle muddy tracks, rocky climbs and rough bush trails. It is aimed at off-road enthusiasts who put traction and toughness ahead of a quiet highway ride. Deep grooves for mud and rock
RoadX gives the M/T deep grooves designed to clear mud from the tread at both high and low speeds, so the blocks keep biting rather than clogging up. The same tread is intended to improve grip on rocky and rugged surfaces. Large shoulder blocks add control on muddy and rocky ground, which helps when you are climbing out of ruts or picking a line over loose stone.
Protection where it counts
A shield pattern extends from the tread down onto the sidewall. RoadX says it resists abrasion and adds extra traction in mud, which is useful when the sidewall is pressed against ruts or rock ledges at lower pressures. Underneath, the carcass uses three layers of polyester fabric for a rugged build that is designed to withstand strong impacts. RoadX Australia lists tread depths of roughly 15 to 17 mm depending on size.

FAQs
Which cars suit the RoadX RXQuest M/T?
Factory sizes listed here include 285/70R17 for the Ford Ranger Raptor and 265/65R17 for the Toyota HiLux SR5 and Toyota Prado. Flotation sizes suit lifted 4WDs that have been modified for bigger tyres. Oversize tyres can need modifications and approval, so confirm the size on your tyre placard or with a store first.
How much do RoadX RXQuest M/T tyres cost?
RXQuest M/T tyres start from around $306 per tyre for the 30x9.5R15 and go up to about $469 for the 33x12.5R20. Price depends on size, and current pricing for each size is shown in the listing above. Prices include fitting and balancing.
Is the RXQuest M/T comfortable for daily highway driving?
It will do the job, but comfort is not its focus. The open tread and three-ply polyester carcass bring more road noise and a firmer ride than an all-terrain, and the large blocks put less rubber on the bitumen than a highway tread. If your 4WD splits its time between highway and tracks, the RoadX RXQuest R/T RX01 offers tough sidewall protection with a less aggressive tread.
